My name is Sophia, I am a junior studying Global Health with the hope of attending medical school after college. I originally grew up in Seattle, Washington, but I moved out to Southern California for high school. No one in my family has ever been involved in Greek Life, so when I first came to USC, I honestly was not sure what to expect. My experience has been so much more than I could have ever imagined.
When I came home to Alpha Delta Pi in Fall 2014, I was suddenly surrounded by all these new sisters who loved and embraced me without any hesitation. Throughout my college experience, I have gone through some ups and downs, but it has been my sisters who were there to share some of my favorite memories and help me through some of my toughest challenges. I truly do not know what I would do without my sisters.
My sisters are all strong, inspiring, women who seek to achieve their goals and dreams. They are also the women you will see on campus getting involved in organizations ranging from athletics, to research, or to service organizations. At the beginning of every semester, I can always count on a sister to sit next to, or a friendly face to spot on campus.
Our sisterhood is everything from late night Nutella snacks, to exploring LA, to celebrating an epic internship. Our sisterhood is there to help each other grow and to enjoy our time in college and beyond.
My sisters exemplify our motto, “we live for each other”, by being a lifelong sisterhood that provides unconditional support and loyalty, grounded in shared values and beliefs, like tolerance, empathy, and kindness. We are a community of women who inspire each other to be our best selves. I really encourage you to continue exploring our website and learn more about our sisterhood!
