Letter From The President
My name is Kassie, and I am a junior studying Industrial and Systems Engineering with a minor in Business Finance. I was born and raised in Tulare, California, and if you have never heard of it don’t feel too bad; It mainly consists of farmland and dairies. Needless to say, I was ready to try out the city and I have loved every moment here at USC. On campus I have been very involved in my last three years. I have been a member of the Trojan Marching Band for 3 years (Fight On!), I served as the VP of Marketing and Sponsorships for Robogals USC, was a member of the USC Automotive Underwater Vehicle Design Team, and have participated in SWE, JEP, and Student Alumni Society. I grew up with a large family, and stand by the phrase “it takes a village.” This is why I chose to go through Recruitment the Fall of my freshman year.
I came home to Alpha Delta Pi in 2015 to the Alpha Psi chapter at the University of Southern California. Being surrounded by so many amazing and inspiring women has tremendously affected my college experience. Although I have had my ups and downs, felt completely overwhelmed at times, and felt like school was impossible, I’ve always had a group of compassionate, helpful women to fall back on and help me through the difficult transitions of college and adulthood.
This sisterhood is everything from late night Froyo runs, to traveling LA, to celebrating an awesome internship. We are there to to help each other grow and to enjoy our time in college and beyond. My sisters exemplify Alpha Delta Pi’s motto, “we live for each other," by being a lifelong sisterhood that provides unconditional support and loyalty, grounded in shared values and beliefs, like tolerance, empathy, and kindness.
I encourage you to explore more of our website and see all the amazing moments we have shared and captured here at Alpha Delta Pi. Please feel free to reach out to me any time if you have any questions about this amazing sisterhood!
Pi love and mine,
President of Alpha Psi, Alpha Delta Pi
