February Polished Pi - Noelle Pardo

Our February 2018 winner of the Polished Pi award is Noelle Pardo. She is a friend to all within the house and is described by sisters as a “wonderful listener and a friendly smile”. She is also an incredibly positive person. Her involvements include: the Student Alumni Association, Society 53, Club Beach Volleyball, and training to be a tour guide for the Admissions Center. In addition, she is extremely passionate about her studies which relate to sustainability and medicine. Noelle remains involved in ADPi by being a part of our Sports Committee and being both a positive and consistent presence in many sisters’ lives. When asked about this recipient, her friend Lucine Beylerian said “Noelle brightens up every room she walks into. Her schedule is busier than I can imagine, but she always has a smile on her face and will always make time to listen to me when I'm having a bad day. She is the one who inspires me to become more involved and who makes me feel excited about the things I am pursuing. I look forward to our dinners every Friday night because even after a long and tiring week, its worth it. I am so lucky to have her as a fellow ADPi and one of my best friends”. Congratulations Noelle! Thank you for being the ideal representation of a sister in Alpha Delta Pi. We love you!

Meet Our January Polished Pi - Shannon O'Hair

Shannon is currently in her final semester at USC, majoring in Accounting with a minor in Art History.

Shannon is currently in her final semester at USC, majoring in Accounting with a minor in Art History.

Our first ever Polished Pi recipient is a girl who is known and beloved throughout our chapter. Even as a senior, she still attends almost every chapter and ADPi event, probably because she has so many friends and is so involved inside the house. When asked about this recipient, her friend Claire Porter said “Shannon is the most supportive friend I have. She is always there to listen to my problems, and when I was having an awful day during my worst semester, she surprised me by taping a piece of paper full of inspirational quotes and empowering messages on my desk. I kept it up for weeks and still have it and will probably frame it one day. She will always go out on a limb for a friend, dropping everything to make sure they feel safe and loved. Everyone deserves a Shannon in their life.”

Shannon served our chapter most recently as Chaplain, and is involved in Peer Health Exchange, Beta Alpha Psi, works for the Marshall School of Business Undergraduate Advising and Student Affairs, and was the lead intern there. After graduation, she has accepted a job with Deloitte in their external Audit Practice, where she absolutely killed her internship last summer, and serves as a campus ambassador. She always has others’ best interests at heart, and is a joy to have around the house. Violets to you Shannon, we love you!
